On the occasion of the 19th edition of the "Fiato ai Libri" Theatre Reading Festival, on Thursday 17th October, at 9:00 pm, the meeting "Mattino e sera" will be held at the Sala Polivalente of the Centro Polifunzionale - Palazzo Biblioteca di Villongo (via Roma, 20).
"The two most important days of your life are the day you are born and the day you discover why". This phrase by Mark Twain seems to be the engine of this short, intense and magmatic story that, overlooking the cold North Sea, accompanies us on the first and last day of a man's life. The 2023 Nobel Prize winner Jon Fosse, already a leading exponent of Nordic theatre for years, surprises us with a tale that is at the same time very simple and complex, dreamlike and sentimental, capable of knocking on that ancestral heart hidden from our own conscience.
