Canyoning on the Creek Guerna

Valley access: take the A4 motorway, from Brescia towards Milan and exit at Ponte Oglio and follow the signs for Sarnico. Before arriving in Sarnico you will find the signs for Adrara, then continue now to Adrara S.rocco where you will park a car in a convenient parking lot near the municipal sports field. From the parking lot go back to the main road and continue along this road and climb for about 5 km near a hairpin bend you will find a barrier outside this, with a road that continues down. Park your car near the hairpin bend.

Approach:
Follow the road that descends from the bar until you get to a house, just before the gate of the house take the path that on the right goes down next to the lawn, the path makes two hairpin bends and after the second we continue for about 300 meters and we will find on the left a path that goes down to the stream. Follow it until you reach the bed. In some places, the path is not clearly visible.

Route:
The initial part of the stream consists of a long march in the bed, interrupted by a small descent of 5 meters. Continue the march with the possibility of a few small toboggans until you get to the first real and beautiful descent, a spectacular toboggan that can only slide after the step where it becomes more vertical. Pay attention to the water in the receiving tank that does not exceed 2mt. Immediately after this descent-toboggan, we have a beautiful series of dives in deep receiving tanks no higher than 6 meters. After that you arrive at the most delicate passage of the gorge, a transverse passage to the right on the wall of a pool, this is to make the dive more safe, from there still a dip and you get to a beautiful toboggan of about 4 meters. We arrive at the last dive that can be performed either from the left, directly above the waterfall pushing us well outwards, or on the right of the pool, near a small pine.
After this dip again some small passage and we exit on the right from the stream along a path that leads to a field to find ourselves on a road with the stream on the left.
From here we continue towards the car.
